Types of fund

By type of investment, the funds can be classified into three categories:

• Debt. These are funds that invest in both private and government debt such as CETES, etc.
• Equities. Are those funds which invest in speculative markets, such as buying and selling stock market shares, metals, commodities, etc. They often perform better than debt funds, but equally the risk is higher.

Coverage. These are funds that invest in foreign currency, dollars or euros.
